About the Role

Google's Dublin office offers software engineering and Site Reliability Engineering internships for BS/MS students, starting in May, June, or July 2026. Interns are embedded in product engineering teams and work on specific projects critical to Google's infrastructure or products, with mentorship from Googlers throughout.

What You'll Do

Design, build, test, and deploy code for a specific project within an assigned team
Collaborate with full-time engineers and contribute to team-level design reviews
For SRE roles: develop automation to improve system reliability and reduce operational toil
Present your project and outcomes to the team at the end of the internship

Enrolled in a penultimate or final year of a BS or MS programme in Computer Science or a closely related field
Ability to commit to a 13–17 week full-time internship starting May, June, or July 2026
Coding proficiency in Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript
Experience with data structures and algorithms through coursework, projects, or competitions
Must be authorised to work in Ireland; sponsorship not available for this role
