Internships Ireland (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at internshipsireland.com. We help Irish university students find and apply for internships. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
Account information — when you sign up we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) your university, degree, and year of study. This is used solely to personalise your internship feed.
Saved internships — we store which listings you have saved so they persist across sessions.
CV content — if you use the AI CV Checker, the text of your CV is sent to our AI provider for analysis and is not stored by us after the response is returned.
Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging. Logs are not used for advertising.
We use only strictly necessary cookies. These are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They do not track you for advertising purposes and do not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive or GDPR.

Analytics cookies
We do not currently use any analytics or tracking cookies (e.g. Google Analytics). If we add them in the future we will update this page, display a consent banner, and give you the ability to opt out before any such cookies are set.
Clerk — Authentication and user management. Data is processed in accordance with Clerk's privacy policy.
Groq — AI inference for the CV Checker and chat assistant. CV text is processed transiently and not stored.
Upstash — Rate limiting using anonymised request keys. No personal data is stored.
Resend — Transactional email delivery (e.g. password reset).
As a user in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from your Profile page. For any other requests contact us at [email protected].
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
