The Platform is intended for use by students enrolled at Irish universities and higher education institutions, and by any individual seeking internship information in Ireland. By using the Platform you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You will use the Platform in compliance with all applicable Irish and EU laws.

Internships Ireland is an information aggregation platform. We do not act as a recruiter, employment agency, or staffing firm. We do not place candidates in roles, represent employers, or guarantee any employment or internship outcome.

Internship listings displayed on the Platform are sourced from publicly available information and third-party company career pages. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but we do not warrant that any listing is current, accurate, complete, or that any position remains available.

You apply to employers directly. Internships Ireland is not a party to any agreement between you and any employer. Any hiring decision is made solely by the employer and is entirely outside our control.

Specifically, AI tools on this Platform must not be relied upon for:

• Legal advice regarding employment rights, contracts, or disputes.
• Financial or tax advice, including PAYE, PRSI, or USC calculations.
• Immigration or visa eligibility determinations.
• Medical or mental health guidance.
• Any decision with significant personal, financial, or legal consequences.

We reserve the right to update, amend, or remove editorial content at any time without notice. External links within blog content are provided for convenience only — we do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content of any third-party website.

If you believe any content is inaccurate, defamatory, or in breach of copyright, please contact us at [email protected]. We will investigate and respond within 10 business days in accordance with the Defamation Act 2009.

When you create an account you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Provide false or misleading registration information.
• Attempt to abuse, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Platform.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with the Platform's security or operation.

All content on this Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, design, and software — is the intellectual property of Internships Ireland or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent. Internship listings sourced from third-party employers remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed €100 (one hundred euro). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

The Platform integrates third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Groq (AI), Upstash (rate limiting), and Resend (email). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

Employer websites and career pages linked from the Platform are entirely independent of Internships Ireland. We accept no responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users by email.
