About the Role
Intel's Leixlip campus in Co. Kildare is one of Europe's most advanced semiconductor manufacturing sites, home to Fab 34 — Intel's first EU factory on the Intel 4 process. Software engineering interns work on tooling, automation, manufacturing execution systems, or factory software that controls production at atomic scale.
What You'll Do
- Develop software tools used in semiconductor manufacturing or design
- Write scripts and automation to improve engineering workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with hardware and process engineers on integration projects
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team codebase
